This planter is great, a beautiful addition to my yard. It was easy to assemble too~ I do worry about how much weight it will hold, as the two large pieces are screwed together not bolted, I may go ahead and bolt them anyway.

This planter gives a lot of old time charm to my landscape. I have it coordinated with an oldtime whiskey barrel surrounded by a split rail fence corner. Looks great!!! I have 2 8 inch flower baskets sitting in the bed of the truck and they fit perfectly. You could also use the top of the truck cab to hold a pot of flowers if you chose. I ordered this truck planter in the burnt wood and it was a good choice for me. I cannot testify to the wheather resistency of this planter yet but I figure with a coat of wood seal every couple years it should wheather well. I look forward to people commenting on this planter as I'm sure Im the only one in my area that has one. It is very unique and looks awesome. There is a small amount of assembly involved with this planter but it is very easy and the screw holes are predrilled. It comes with very simple instructions and hardware. Lastly, I also ordered the other wooden truck planter that simply planters.com sells and have it in another split rail fence corner with the same set up and it is just as awesome!!!!
