What We Like About The Teak Herb Box
This beautiful garden box is crafted from solid teak grown in democratic Costa Rica. It offers a terrific value and is designed so that it does not require a liner. All hardware is stainless steel, and there are pre-drilled holes as well as teak footings underneath that provide drainage in outdoor settings. Choose from two sizes. Due to the natural materials used; length, width, and height dimensions may vary up to an inch or more.

Teak is often misunderstood as being a high maintenance material, when in fact it requires virtually no maintenance whatsoever and will last for generations to come. We recommends doing nothing and allow your teak planter to weather naturally. In less than a year of exposure to the elements, Teak will naturally weather to a beautiful silvery gray patina. Due to Teakwood's high oil content and density, the grain will not open or split, which means the smooth, buttery texture will remain even after years of continued exposure. If you prefer to preserve the color of new or cleaned teak, or would like to revive already weathered teak to a like new condition, then we suggest using teak cleaner and teak protector, both can be found at your local larger hardware store.

We had an interesting need; use planters for decorative items as well as partial shades in windows and this fits the bill perfectly.
Small enough to sit on a sill and big enough to provide a green curtain of wheatgrass in the window.
Wish it comes with some chic options though... like a steel outer planter/container (or lacquer with multiple color options) and an attractive drip tray for a minimalistic look

Nice, solid piece. Be aware that it might seem smaller once on hand, so in may be dwarfed by other planters.

I have started my first herb garden and after my seeds sprouted I needed an attractive and sturdy planter for them. I found this one and not only does it fit perfectly in my windowsill, it is assembled and beautifully crafted, Drainage is great, no other leakage, assembled wonderfully! I love it!
